Foods like sugar, Cholesterol Could Rise

NEW YORK, KOMPAS.com - excess sugar consumption has been synonymous with obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Recent research proves, eating too much sugar it affects cholesterol and triglycerides in the body.

Miriam Vos, MD, and colleagues from Emory University in Atlanta examined the link between high sugar intake in addition to the American people and contributing to high cholesterol. To measure the intake of sugar we consume, Johnson suggested that we memperhatian labels listed in the packaging of food or beverages. "If the labels have the word 'syrup', sucrose, fructose, and dextrose, it is an additional sweetener," he said.

The best way to limit consumption of an additional sweetener is to reduce the consumption of liquor, not only soft but also fruit juices and sports drinks that contain lots of sugar
